Dave Heroes Heroes (Part 2: Jon Curry)

Last night a friend of mine passed away in his sleep. His favourite band was Hawkwind, so it seems fitting to put a couple of their albums up in memory of him. Cardinal Jonathan Halton Curry, RIP.
Our thoughts & prayers go out to his loved ones, family & friends.

"Sneaked into his neighbours house last night and mixed butter into their 'I can't believe it's not butter!'. Now they don't know what to believe" - JC, Sept 28th

Dave Heroes says: Download the Hawkwind records, and play loud for Jon Curry...

Dave Heroes Says:

An Apology...
Ok, so we messed up a bit. Some of the downloads didnt work, but we've been through them all, and re-upped the ones that didnt work, and all works fine again now, so go grab the ones what werent working good now, namely:
Homebrew / Write Offs Split 7"
Dog On A Rope 'Yob Culture' 7"
The Write Offs 'Big Dawg EP'
Snuff '1990 Tour Flexi' 7"
WORM 'Pray TV/Fuck' 7"
Mutt 'Retro EP'
Sorry about that hiccup. Let us know if things dont work on future steals...

Dave Heroes Heroes (Part 1: Bryan Danielson)

On Sunday Night, Sept the 19th 2010, pro-wrestler Daniel Bryan (aka Bryan Danielson from his indie-wrestling days) captured the WWE US Title from The Miz on the Night Of Champions PPV.
I always been a fan of this man, since seeing him wrestle for Ring Of Honor, where he made a name for himself as 'The Best In The World'. A great technical wrestler, submission expert, and despite what Michael Cole says, Bryan has got heaps of personality, and knows how to work a crowd (especially nerdy marks like me). So far his WWE run has been a stop-start affair (especially after being suspended for choking out a ring announcer with a tie), but his Indie career has been blazing hot for years, and many predict his WWE to follow suit.
In tribute to this man, we're rewinding the clock back to 2006, where he reigned as Ring Of Honor Champion, and his entrance music was Europe's 'The Final Countdown', and are putting up the album this cheesey rock anthmn came from...
I was going to put up something by a vegan band too, seen as he's vegan (yey), but don't couldn't find anything suitable... Maybe another time when he wins a major title?

"Hey ref, I have till 5!"

Dave Heroes Says:

As we are a tad retarded, we just testing the water now... At somepoint this place will be pretty and full of music what'll make you all tingley...but as we said - "We're just test-t-test-testing the water now..." Watch this space...

Love
