On Sunday Night, Sept the 19th 2010, pro-wrestler Daniel Bryan (aka Bryan Danielson from his indie-wrestling days) captured the WWE US Title from The Miz on the Night Of Champions PPV.
I always been a fan of this man, since seeing him wrestle for Ring Of Honor, where he made a name for himself as 'The Best In The World'. A great technical wrestler, submission expert, and despite what Michael Cole says, Bryan has got heaps of personality, and knows how to work a crowd (especially nerdy marks like me). So far his WWE run has been a stop-start affair (especially after being suspended for choking out a ring announcer with a tie), but his Indie career has been blazing hot for years, and many predict his WWE to follow suit.
In tribute to this man, we're rewinding the clock back to 2006, where he reigned as Ring Of Honor Champion, and his entrance music was Europe's 'The Final Countdown', and are putting up the album this cheesey rock anthmn came from...
I was going to put up something by a vegan band too, seen as he's vegan (yey), but don't couldn't find anything suitable... Maybe another time when he wins a major title?
